A premium service high temperature 100% Graphite Packing manufactured by the interbraid method. It is treated with special blocking agent to prevent seepage through the packing. It eliminates most of the shaft wear because graphite fibres are comparatively frictionless and immune to chemical hardening. The inherent lubricating value, low-coefficient of expansion, high heat conductivity, high temperature resistance are the characteristics of the packing resulting in extended packing life, lower maintenance cost, less down-time, lower leakage rates, and less shaft wear.

A premium service packing for acids, alkalies, oils, solvents, steam, fuel oil, hot tar pumps, refinery services, mixers and agitators. Not recommended to use against oxygen, fuming nitric acid and other strong oxidising agents.

1. Sizes 3 mm to 5 mm is supplied in spools of 10 mtrs.
2. Size above 5 mm is supplied in Boxes/Kgs.
3. Also can be supplied in accurate cut rings.

A premium STERN TUBE DUPLEX Braided packing manufactured from tough vegetable fibre for heavy-duty Hydraulic and Marine applications including rudder posts. This packing is incorporated with special lubricants to promote non-flowing lubricity, compressibility, flexibility and to minimise shaft wear. The volume loss, friction and heat build-up are kept to a minimum. There will be no washout of lubricants as experienced with conventional packings. The special lubricant forms a protective shield around the basic fibre preventing fluid penetration and fibre breakdown.

Service: This packing is recommended for ships and the shipbuilding industry as it reduces maintenance costs and is a money saver. It is best used against seawater, oils, weak alkali solutions, STERN GLANDS, in food stuff, pharmaceutical industries and Paper Mills for reciprocating and rotary applications in pumps and valves.
