Grid Connected Solar PV System is also known as On Grid Solar PV System. In this system, the Solar panels that we installed collect energy from the sun and convert it to direct current (DC) electricity. Then the Inverter connected to the solar panels converts direct current (DC) electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity. This AC power flows from the inverter to your net meter through the cables. From there it is distributed to your electricity usage. If you are not using fully generated electricity then the excess electricity flows to the grid, where you can able to reduce your electricity bill in this process.
