Line chokes produce an inductance as a requirement and calculated in henry in single phase and three phase drives or controls extra. Commented in the mains supply to the inverter. This will help to reduce harmonics that are caused when the mains is rectified to create a DC link. They will also reduce the peak currents drawn by the inverter or other device. They also help to project the input rectifier from some mains problems. Harmonics can cause premature failure of input rectifier and phase correction capacitors. Harmonic compensated and IGBTcompatible.

Dynamic breaking resistor is used where motor connected to VFD which is generating regenerative energy due to high inertia or in case where deceleration time is so less that VFD cannot control motor to stop. Due to high inertia motor acts as a generator and starts producing energy. This energy is feed back to VFD through free wheel diodes connected across IGBT and it tends to increase DC bus voltage of VFD.

This is two winding device. Functioning of this device is to isolate the magnetic distortion from supply. In isolation transformer rating (voltage and current) of both primary and secondary are same.
