Calorised and Ceramic Coated Oxygen Lancing Pipe
Product Detail

Calorised and Ceramic Coated Oxygen Lancing Pipe
Lancing pipes (apart from Ladle & Slag door cleaning, EBT & Nozzles opening) are used in a melting shop on regular basis for Oxygen lancing in the furnace for faster melting of steel scrap, removal of impurities/ oxides & maintaining the basicity of slag. Conventional uncoated/ plain steel pipes tends to
- increase the cost of production
- more chances of leakages at joints of pipes/ threads
- larger & repetitive inventory controls
- multiple handling of documents and administrative workloads
- increase of tap to tap time due to faster consumption during melting operations
CALORISED & CERAMIC COATED LANCING PIPES are globally & locally supplied by us to various steel melting shops to reduce the cost of production and reduce the tap to tap time by reducing the time used to add the pipes and reduce the consumption of pipes. Minimum of 3 times of plain/ uncoated pipe consumption is achieved, thereby having an edge over conventional steel pipes by giving techno-commercial advantage to you.

Burning Thermal Cutting Oxygen Lance Pipe
Product Detail

Burning Thermal Cutting Oxygen Lance Pipe
After the melting operations, conventional steel pipes are used for Ladle & Slag door cleaning, EBT & Nozzles opening. This is a crucial juncture for liquid steel which has to be transferred from Furnace to Ladle, and for casting from the Ladle. Any delay in EBT or Ladle opening results in loss of liquid steel temperature, delay in production cycle, change of chemistry, etc. which may result in discarding the liquid metal into the pit.
For the first time in India our Company had developed THERMAL LANCING PIPES in diameters ranging from 8nb (1/4”) up to 20nb (3/4”) for Ladle & Slag door cleaning, EBT & Nozzles opening. These lances are also very effective in cutting/ cleaning of any metals, ferro alloys & non-metals like slag, refractories, concrete, etc. which is used with single gas i.e. OXYGEN. Usage of thermal lances at crucial place & time for opening EBT & Ladle slide gate at melt shop will avoid cold heats and delay in Tapping & teaming of liquid metal. Also cleaning of EBT hole, slag door of furnace & cleaning of slide-gate nozzle & slag-line area for subsequent heat preparation will improve the productivity.

Coated Graphite Electrodes
Product Detail

Coated Graphite Electrodes
Graphite electrodes are used mainly in electric arc furnace steel production. Furthermore, coatings have been used on graphite electrodes since 1969 in these industries for steel melting, ranging from 5 tonnes to 185 tonnes capacity, using 200 - 600 mm diameter electrodes. Graphite electrodes are used for producing STEEL The coating has two main functions: • To protect the surface of the electrode while use in the furnace from oxidation. While the oxidation occurs, the diameter of the electrode tip remains larger than that on an uncoated electrode. The linear rate of wear of the electrode is also decreased so that the overall electrode consumption is reduced. • To form high conductivity, low resistivity skin which increase the current carrying capacity of the electrode. This allows more current to pass through the same sized electrode, avoiding severe mechanical damage.

Coated Pipes
Product Detail

Coated Pipes
Calorised lance pipe is made up of 5 layers. At the core is a high-quality mild steel lance pipe. By calorisation, a thickness of 100-150 microns is imparted on outer surface, and further coating with refractory materials in 200-300 microns thickness on both inner and outer surfaces, the diffusion is an inter metallic bond, which doesn't get damaged either by mechanical working like bending or straightening or by high temperatures. In the case of metal diffused pipes, the metal existing at the surface of the diffused zone is oxidized to the respective oxide, which prevents the further progress of oxidation and also melting. For instance, by calorisation, aluminium is oxidized alumina, which has a very high melting point of 2050 C compared to the melting point of aluminium, which is mere 658 C.

Thermal Lance
Product Detail

Thermal Lance
Burning / Thermal Lance is the product developed for the purpose of increasing the heat quality generated from the lance, by improving the cutting efficiency with the cutting core wires of several pieces built in the combustion steel pipe. The difficult to - cut materials in gas cutting and mechanical cutting is not limited to iron and steel, stainless steel, alloys such as brass, nonferrous metal, ceramic etc. These can be simply and quickly cut off and board without noise and vibration at the high temperature approx 3600 F. It is optimum for cutting and boring concrete, special steel, cast steel, pig iron, slag and refractory. Oxygen gas is the only heat source required for the equipment.
