About Us

The Metro Motors was established in 1936 by late Shri H.K.DAS. The company had the franchise of General Motors and were retailing their Chevrolet models of Trucks and Cars. In 1950 General Motors closed down their operations in India due to insufficient business prospects. The company then held the franchisee of Hindustan Motors and later that of Fiat. In 1959 Metro Motors took the franchise of Telco and completed its 50 years of relationship with Tata Motors in 2009. Metro Motors are the leading dealers of Northern India for retail of Commercial and Passenger vehicles of Tata Motors Limited.
