Naina Semiconductor Limited was incorporated in the year 1988 in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Starting with plastic devices such as standard recovery & fast recovery diodes in packages of DO-41, DO-27 & R-6 for various applications, the company has grown to new heights. Over the past 24 years, the company has expanded rapidly in the field of power semiconductors and is now the major supplier of these components in India.
The business area is not limited to just domestic, as the company also caters to export demand to regions such as USA, UK, Middle-East, Europe and South-East Asia. During these years, the staff at the company has accumulated a wealth of experience in this field and are constantly striving towards improving and improvising.

These devices have low conduction losses, high surge current capabilities, low leakage current and stability at high currents.
These Standard Recovery Diodes are used in various applications such as power supplies, motor controls, consumer electronics, lighting, telecommunication equipment’s, welding machines, battery chargers, etc.

Diode Modules consist of 1 or 2 diodes in a combination of 4 types of circuits. The diodes can be arranged in Single, Series, Common Anode or Common Cathode configuration, depending on the requirement. The modules are constructed with glass passivated chips and the package is electrically isolated with a metal baseplate (usually copper) or sometimes a DCB Alumina base (Al2O3)
These modules have high efficiency, compact packaging, low thermal resistance, high stability at high temperatures & high di/dt and dv/dt capabilities.
The Diode Modules areused in online/offline inverters, battery chargers, power supplies, motor drives, single and three phase bridge circuits, industrial welders & heat/temperature control circuits.
