About Us
Founding Team
Gaurav, Lucas and Krishnan had been contemplating to start up for long and had been toying with various ideas. Gaurav had extensively spent time in credit assessment, Krishnan had a legacy of building technology products and Lucas was deeply involved in tech sales, research and analytics. An amalgam of the skill set and experience encouraged the founding team to delve into SME lending space which required a deep understanding of credit and presented a massive opportunity for tech-enablement. The result was founding of Opendoors Fintech in 2014.
Founding of NC
Namaste Credit was founded in 2014 as an Indian subsidiary of Opendoors Fintech. We started with 6 lenders and less than 100 channel partners in 2014 and have seen a consistent growth till 2018. In March 2018, we raised USD 3.5 million by Nexus Partners as series A funding. The fund infusion was instrumental in scaling our marketing efforts and technology. We currently stand with 70+ lenders and 10000+ channel partners.
