Within our Group, we have warehousing facilities in Johannesburg and Durban with smaller capacity at our Meyerton Depot and Port Elizabeth Operations. Each depot is equipped with both light & heavy forklifts to meet all of our customer requirements, in terms of unloading, unpacking and storage of products. The Company has recently commissioned a new warehouse in the Durban area, close to the Durban Ports. Cross-Haul, unpacking and storage of goods will be facilitated in this operation for a number of Premier’s existing clients. The operation will focus on cost reduction while ensuring that through state of the art systems and procedures that quality is not sacrificed. Warehousing services that we offer, include: Handling of containerized, break-bulk cargo. Short and long-term storage. Barcoding / Scanning. Bond store. (OS) Food store. Hazchem store. (Class 8-9) Palletizing. Strech – Wrapping. Strapping. Fumigation. Crating and lashing. We use the Streamline warehouse management system.
