About Us
PROLIFIC ENGINEERS was started in 1971 by three mechanical engineering graduates from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi who were looking forward to use the knowledge gained during their academic carrier for improving the quality of products being produced by Indian manufacturers and to enable them to compare favourably with the best in the world. Today, our dream stands fulfilled. The testing equipment manufactured by us have contributed significantly in improving the quality of materials and products we use in our daily lives, such as the clothes we wear, the shoes that protect our feet while providing them comfort, the paint that covers the walls of our houses, the pipes which serve to bring water to us, the vehicles that carry us to our work place and back to the comforts of our/daily homes, and a host of other such products which effect our lives in a variety of manners. Our endeavour is to ensure that Indian industries get the best facilities for testing their products at a price they can well afford. Our list of customers is truly vast, covering various defence and railway establishments, regional testing centres and quality marking centres belonging to various state governments, educations institutions, national test houses, private testing laboratories, large medium, and small scale industries, research and developments centres, industries associations, laboratories being run by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and various ministries, etc.
