Our Foundation
Founded in the year 1995, with an area of just 500 sq ft RMC Switchgears Limited (Formerly known as RFH Metal Castings Private Limited) in Jaipur started our journey with manufacturing of Electrical Meter Casings for one of the fastest growing metering company Genus Power Infra Limited, Jaipur.
From Humble Beginning to become the largest
We entered direct tendering for the electrical enclosures in 2003 in Rajasthan and Maharashtra and bagged our first order in our maiden tendering from both the states which boosted our confidence to become the largest electrical enclosure manufacturer in the country with 8 lac sq ft of world class manufacturing unit with more than 45 million installations nationwide till date and now a listed company on Bombay Stock Exchange. Today RMC has a proud team of more than 500 workers and had established the first BIS recognized testing laboratory in the country dedicatedly for the enclosures.

Pultruded FRP Gratings
FRP Grating (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) is also known as glass reinforced plastic grating or fiberglass grating. One of the main advantages FRP Grating has over steel is that FRP simply WILL NOT RUST. That’s why you frequently see FRP used around saltwater for walkways, docks, and handrails. FRP Grating looks so much like steel, so you may have seen FRP at a marina and not even know it.
FRP PULTRUDED Grating:
Pultruded FRP grating consists of continuous glass strands encased in resin and wrapped in a surfacing veil which protects the fibers and allows resin to saturate the outermost part of the bar as well as penetrate between the glass fibers. This ensures a smooth and corrosion-resistant surface, with a higher glass/resin ratio than molded products. The individual bars are then assembled using cross bars and epoxy to mechanically join the load bars. FRP Pultruded grating has unidirectional strength, with its much higher glass content resulting in a greater span capability than molded products. This product is usually specified in applications requiring larger spans or heavier loading.

Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
A moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) is a type of electrical protection device that is used to protect the electrical circuit from excessive current, which can otherwise cause overload or short circuit. With a current rating of up to 2500A, MCCBs can be used for a wide range of voltages and frequencies with adjustable trip settings. These breakers are used instead of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) in large scale PV systems for system isolation and protection purposes.
MCCB provides:
- Overload Protection,
- Electrical Fault Protection against short circuit currents, and
- Electrical Switch for disconnection.
RMC offers a wide range of MCCB which are manufactured with electrical grade SMC/ DMC and EC grade copper. All the MCCB’s are tested before they are rolled out in the market to ensure efficient functioning. Range includes Single Pole, Up To 225 Amp 3 Pole and 4 Pole MCCB’s Ics=Icu from 10 Ka and10 Amp Upto 400 Amp.

Kit Kat Fuse
Kit-Kat Fuse are made from Pure materials including good quality porcelain & copper/ brass parts. The current carrying copper & brass components are Pure and Robust capable of carrying their rated current.
- Kit Kat fuse is a semi conductor fuse enclosed fuse for Domestic Uses
- Fuse wire is not kept open in the air and it is also not completely closed
- The fuse wire is attached to fuse which can be removed or connected to fuse base
- A strip of this fuse is placed in series with the circuit
- The phase wire is permanently connected to fuse base
All the Kitkat Fuses are type tested as per IS:2086 and are available in 4 KA. The range of KitKat is from 5 Amp to 300 Amp at 240V, 50Hz.

Fully Insulated Bus Bars
Fully insulated busbars are used to ensure connections between medium and high voltage equipment.
RMC provides Fully Insulated Bus Bars covered with SMC/ DMC/ Polycarbonate / Nylon as required by the customers are provided with Aluminum Bus Bars conductor. The Pitches and hole dimensions may vary and screwing options are single or double. If opted for Allen Screw Option, a separate Allen key with Insulated Handle is also provided with each box.
