4-channel Low Bit Rate Encoder RE-4381P supports 4 channels of MPEG-2 or MPEG-4(ASP) encoding. Meanwhile it also support super low bit rate encoding, as well as outputs of 1~4 channels of independent audio multiplexed TS. It is mainly used to achieve 4-channel digitalization of analogue TV signals with dynamic compressing and encoding, and outputs to various application systems via ASI or IP ports.
ASI output data will be fed into re-multiplexer, and then fed the multi-program data into RF modulator, and finally fed into cable, terrestrial or satellite network for transmission.
IP output data goes into video server via network switches. Video server then processes and distributes the data to user-end terminals via video service network with proper management.

In order to cater for demands of interoperability of different operators and ever-growing data rate of television services, the RI-4041 A is equipped with four DVB-CI complied Common Interfaces to meet the demands of descrambling for different scrambled programs which using different Simul-crypt CA(s), and supports up to 280Mbps of de-scrambling output bit rate for high definition and standard definition TV programs.
