Our pre-cut masking shapes for conformal coating can help speed up the process for masking printed circuit boards.

They are extremely easy to apply, very convenient to use and low cost to buy.  In fact, instead of having to cut masking tape to shape, which can create long process times, the masking shapes are already pre-cut on a tape sheet or roll.

So, the custom shapes are simply removed from the sheet or roll when needed. Therefore, this saves a lot of masking time.

Fluoropolymer Nano-coatings: 

SCH Technologies supply ultra-thin Nano-coatings made of fluoropolymer chemistries. This provides low cost solutions to protecting printed circuit boards from the environment around them.

These ultra-thin coatings have many different properties that are extremely important for circuit board protection.

First, they can have hydrophobic (water repellent) and oleophobic (oil repellent) behaviour that provides a high moisture barrier and corrosion resistance protection for the circuits.

Why use Nano-coatings to protect circuit boards?

Nano-coatings are a subset of liquid protective coatings like conformal coatings that are for protecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs).

They have very specialised properties due to their fluoropolymer based chemical structure and design. These specialist properties can include:

• Being highly hydrophobic (water repellent) and oleophobic (oil repellent)
• Excellent moisture barrier and excel at preventing corrosion
• Do not require masking before coating since they are so thin
• Strong chemical resistance, lubricity (reduced friction) and dielectric properties due to the fluorinated chemistry

The CB100 Spray Booth is designed specifically for spray application of materials such as conformal coatings and RFI EMI shielding paints onto printed circuit boards and small size products.

The CB100 Spray Booth is a free standing, purpose built system, which can be made to customer’s size and specification requirements. The CB100 is designed for safe application of coatings whilst spraying, without compromise to performance, quality or throughput.

The DC100 floor standing drying cabinet was designed specifically for practical conformal coating air temperature drying of conformal coating on the printed circuit boards (PCBs) away from air borne contamination.

The DC100 floor standing drying cabinet is designed to be used in conjunction with conformal coating application equipment, this compactly designed system not only offers an enclosed extraction area for protecting newly coated PCBs from contamination during the drying process, but also safely removing excess solvents through the attached exhaust.

• Removable and fully height adjustable enclosed mesh shelves for hanging PCBs individually or holding trays of conformal coated boards
