About Us
STM Construction Equipment is based in Singapore and specializes in providing innovative construction equipment, with superior productivity and safety, to the construction and mining sectors in South and Southeast Asia. The company was founded in 2010 by Jonas Stahlbage, an experienced equipment specialist for tunneling, mining, rock excavation and demolition, who has played an integral part in introducing many new types of equipment to customers in Asia as well as Europe and the Americas. After several years in the construction sector in Asia, Jonas Stahlbage recognized that there is a lack of professional distributors who can introduce new technology and support customers through delivery and usage to ensure that the equipment is used effectively. Whether the equipment comes from Europe, Japan or the U.S., the end-customers are entitled to fast and accurate information and a high level of support. STM Construction Equipment is aiming at bridging the gap between advanced equipment manufacturers and end-users through close cooperation and partnerships. Through deep understanding of the application and the customers priorities, STM can suggest a tailor made solution. By involving the manufacturer early in the process, STM can ensure that the right equipment is selected, the customer is professionally trained and the best result can be achieved. STM also believes in providing candid and specific feedback to the manufacturer about local conditions and preferences, which in turn allows the products to be designed to be better suited for local requirements.

Xcentric Ripper
Product Detail
Xcentric Ripper
Xcentric Ripper is a revolutionary excavator attachment for excavation of rock and demolition of concrete structures. It is based on a patented impact vibration accumulation technology, which enables excavation and demolition in less time, for lower cost and with minimal noise. It was developed in Spain and has been used with great success in Europe since 2009. Now it is also available in Asia! The Xcentric Ripper combines the working principles of impact force of a hydraulic breaker with vibration and ripping power of a conventional ripper. Due to this combination of both breaking, vibration and ripping, it can yield up to five-times higher excavation rates compared to conventional hydraulic rock breakers. Xcentric Ripper is exceptionally suitable for soft to medium hard rock like limestone, sandstone and basalt, as well as reinforced concrete. Xcentric Ripper should not be confused with conventional vibro rippers as Xcentric Ripper has an accumulator which provides impact along with vibration. Key features of the Xcentric Ripper include: Up to 5X higher productivity Minimum maintenance Minimum noise Easy operation The Xcentric Ripper's closed energy chamber cannot be influenced or damaged from the outside by dust, water or dirt. Therefore it can work without any problem in the most severe conditions including tunnels, foundations, even under water. The Xcentric Ripper requires no greasing, no replacement of bushes, seals or any other parts.

Hycon Hydraulic Tools
Product Detail
Hycon Hydraulic Tools
Hycon offers a full range of powerful and reliable handheld hydraulic breakers with highly portable power packs. Compared to pneumatic breakers, hydraulics offers a higher performance but with lighter weight. For instance, a Hycon hydraulic breaker weighing 23kg driven by a 9hp power pack has the same breaking power as a 27kg pneumatic breaker with a large compressor. This allows the same job to be done faster but with lower fuel consumption, lower investment and easier transportation. You can also use the same power pack to operate pumps, cut-off saws, core drills, etc. Hycon's handheld cut-off saw is one of the most powerful handheld power saws on the market but is still light enough for easy use in all positions. The cut-off saw is available in 3 versions: HCS14, HCS16 and HCS18. All types can be used for to cut all types of concrete, steel, brick wall, asphalt etc., even under water. The tool automatically cuts off if the disc jams so there is risk of injury to the operator.

Ultra Large Hydraulic Rock Splitter
Product Detail
Ultra Large Hydraulic Rock Splitter
Explosives or large rock breakers are the normal methods for excavation of hard rock. But restrictions on blasting are getting stricter and the use of rock breakers is not always feasible due to vibrations, noise restrictions or simply to hard rock. Yamamoto ultra-large rock splitters offer an alternative method for efficient excavation of large volumes of hard rock without the need for explosives, vibrations or fly rock. The splitter can be mounted from a crane or a normal excavator for open pits or shafts, or mounted on a specialised carrier for horizontal tunnelling. For large volumes of rock, there is simply no mechanical method more efficient, safe and silent than the Yamamoto rock splitter. The working principle is based on a two counter wedges inserted in a pre-drilled hole. A hydraulic cylinder pushes out a centre wedge between the counter wedges to spread them apart and the rock is split.
