TBEA is the first transformer manufacturer in China. TBEA is the Govt. recognized centre for technology and the National standards, Training and Talent generation. Right from manufacture of first transformer in China, to capacity to develop the first high-Voltage transformer of range from 110kV, 220kV, 330kV, 500kV, 750kV, 1000kV, 220kV, 500kV, 800kV were all born in TBEA.
The transmission and transformation products produced by TBEA widely serve as source for the Electric Network for construction in 31 provinces and regions in China. TBEA has provided the first set and services for National key Projects including the following:

The voltage scope of products is from 35KV up to 765KV. The total annual production capacity of products of various voltage grades is up to 5,000 sets.

- TBEA relying on competitive capacities of R&D, manufacture, resource utilization and financing in the power transmission and transformation industry, has finished a lots of turnkey projects successfully.
- TBEA can provide complete EPC service engineering including integral exploration, design, engineering, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and training for building of under-750 kV transformer station and the relative power transmission and transformation lines, 2 x 1050 MW and 600 MW thermal power plants; 300 MW hydraulic power station.
- Until now TBEA has already participated complete-set projects in India, Africa, Central Asia and Gulf Area which covered the equipments supply, turnkey projects, BOT projects, the service engineering by providing technical consulting assistance and design work in power electricity industry.
