VERPAP-AZC is an insolubilizer for coating and surface sizing formulation. It is an effective cross linking agent suitable for all types of paper and paperboard applications. VERPAP-AZC is completely formaldehyde free, fast curing and reacts with hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. The improved water resistance of the coating decreases the tendency of wet pick during printing.

APPLICATION                    :          

VERPAP-AZC recommended dosage is 2-7% on total dry binder content. VERPAP-AZC is based on carbonate so PH of coating solution before addition of VERPAP-AZC must be higher than 7. VERPAP-AZC should be always added as the last ingredient in the coating solution, after adjusting the PH of the coating solution to 8-9.

VERPAP-DA it is a unique non foaming deflocculant for dispersion. It functions because polyanions are strongly adsorbed onto the surface of individual mineral particles, rendering the surfaces negatively charged. The mineral particles repel each other and thus are kept in the form of dispersion.

Anionic dispersing agents act by coating the surface of inorganic mineral particles as the result of on the positive charges that develop on particles when in contact with water, a process know as ‘adsorption’. Adsorption imparts a net negative charge to the particle surface so that the particles are repelled form each other.

APPLICATION :

VERPAP-DA dispersing agents enable bulk minerals to be supplied in a stable slurry form that continues to remain fluid over a period of time. These minerals are suitable for a wide variety of applications. China clay (or kaolin), for example, is commonly used in coating formulations and as a filler in the paper industry, and also in slip castings of ceramics. Another mineral often supplied in slurry from is calcium carbonate, which must normally be ground to a particular particle size in a process greatly assisted by the use a dispersing agent. Calcium carbonate is widely used in the paint industry and also for paper production. Numerous other inorganic (and organic) minerals and pigments are also dispersed in water-based slurries for a variety of applications.

VERSIZE-CSS surface sizing is used along with starch. This is cationic surface sizing agent so it is compatible with cationic and non ionic auxiliaries such as starches, basic dyestuffs and PVA. VERSIZE-CSS reduces dusting and picking. It improves printability properties.

APPLICATION :

VERSIZE-CSS  is compatible with cationic and non ionic size bath additives such as basic dyestuffs, starches, polyvinyl alcohol.  It is very effective on raw paper / board produced under acid and neutral conditions. The presence of Aluminium ions in base paper is not necessary. There is no problem in the use of chalk as filler in the pulp.

VERSIZE-CSS is low foaming surface sizing agent so it does not tend to foam in size press solution. Additives of strongly anionic character (such as CMC or OBA) can lead to precipitation. Their compatibility with VERSIZE-CSS should first be confirmed by laboratory testing.

VERSIZE-ASS  is a anionic styrene acrylic copolymer dispersion with low viscosity. It shows high stability towards chemical and mechanical influences and a low tendency to foam.

APPLICATION :

The typical dosage is  0.7 – 2.0 kg/paper ton. The product is a dispersion polymer and it is not sensitive to pH variations. Anti- foaming agent is not usually needed. The product is anionic – it retains easily and remains on a surface of the paper/board, especially in applications where the surface size used with  an oxidized or enzymatically converted starch.

VERPAP - FLP is a high molecular weight, cationic dry flocculent, which is used to improve fiber and ash retention in papermaking. VERPAP - FLP has a synergistic effect in combination with other additives like coagulants and fixation aids.

The VERPAP - FLP powder is dissolved in water (dissolving equipment needed) to a 0.3 -0.5% stock solution, which is diluted to about a tenth of its original concentration before dosage to the paper machine. VERPAP - FLP is normally added just before the head box. The dosage is commonly 100 -500 g/t paper. To achieve maximum efficiency, dosing is recommended after the pressure screens, where the flocks are submitted to a minimum of shearing force.

VERPAP-CLP is a specially formulated solution of polyamine with high cationic and high molecular weight. coagulant which is used in combination of Flocculent for effective solid liquid separation in Krofta.

Handling       

VERPAP-CLP has to store in a dry and cool place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use. These products exhibit very low order of oral toxicity.   No special care is required in handling this product.

VERPAP-CSA is marketed in the form of a white emulsion, which when diluted with water gives fine emulsion with alkalies, hard water and salts. VERPAP-CSA is useful as a internal sizing agent for Cup Stock Paper.      

APPLICATION                     :         VERPAP-CSA is a complementary sizing for use along with the

            Acidic / Alkaline and offers maximum sizing to give hard cobb.                                                         

                                                            VERPAP-CSA should be added to mixing chest or beater.

                                                            The recommended dosages are 0.2% to 0.6% on dry paper

                                                           basis.

VERDET-PDF is suitable defoamer for pulp and paper mills which can be used at various stage of pulp and paper making operations. VERDET-PDF can be used for alkaline pulp washing & screening.

VERDET-PDF is also useful at the ET (Effluent treatment) Plant. Dosage to be used depends on Mill conditions.

VERPAP-MF is an aqueous solution of melamine-formaldehyde resin, especially designed

 to increase water and wet rub resistance of coating with natural and synthetic latexes.

APPLICATION                    :          

It is added to coating pastes preferably at the end. The dosage can be established between 0.5 to 2.0% (as received) on total pigment in the coating colour is recommended .Normally Higher dosage of VERPAP-MF (1% to 2%) is recommended in specific cases such as high level of natural binder (specially starch, casein) or the paper/board facing the problem of dusting/linting or the coated board facing problem of glueability or blister packing.

VERPAP-WSR resin is a wet end additive manufactured for tissue, paper and paperboard. It improves dry strength for paper and works under wide range of pH 4.5 – 8.5 of machine.

VERPAP-WSR enhances strength characteristics, such as Burst, Tensile, Ring Crush, STFI, Concora and Dry Rub. All these benefits improve the papermaking operation by enabling new grades, lower cost furnish, increased machine speed, and reduced steam demand.

APPLICATION

VERPAP-WSR is a water-based solution, and there should be no need for special dissolving equipment. Dilute solutions of any lower concentrations can be prepared by merely adding the polymer to water and stirring.

APPLICATION                    :          VERDET- MDF gives more cost effective foam control in   

paper machine system. It can reduce polymer usage,   increase production by allowing greater machine speeds, reduce steam consumption in the dryers. These benefits translate into greater production better formation of paper as well as trouble free operation.

A typical dosage rate is 0.3 kgs. /ton to 0.6 kgs. /ton of paper produced, but it is recommended that optimum addition point and addition dosage are determined by trial.

VERDET-SDF is an effective defoamer for chemical pulp production.  It contains ingredients which normally do not contribute to resinous deposits in pulp mill washing operations.

APPLICATION                     :         VERDET-SDF is an effective defoamer for Alkaline pulp

washing and screening & bleaching process.  A typical dose rate is 0.1 kgs.ton to/ton of pulp produced, but it is   recommended that optimum addition point and addition doses are determined by trial.

VERCOAT-PWE is fully refined paraffin wax emulsion. Its particle size is very fine. It is ideal additive for water base paint. Addition of paraffin wax emulsion can improve gloss, water repellency, lubrication and whiteness. It is also help as a flow modifier. It is also use as anti-blocking agent. It gives better coverage.

APPLICATION                    :          

VERCOAT-PWE is very good for paint industries improve gloss and provide lotus effect and water repellency. It dosages depends on required gloss and water repellency. We recommend 3 to 5% of emulsion. Add it after emulsion and stir it for 20-30 minutes.

VERPAP-ACA is a speciality chemical for paper Industry. It gives better sheet formation by dispersion of fibers. It is very useful anti cracking agent for paper. It can eliminate anti cracking property. It can also helps to control dusting & fluff of paper. VERPAP-ACA reduces tackiness and plucking on the M. G. cylinder and also gives a soft bulky handle to the paper.

APPLICATION                    :

Addition VERPAP-ACA to stock suspension brings a better dispersion of the fiber. This promotes a more uniform sheet formation. It is absorbed by the fibers and gives a soft bulky handle and smoothness to the paper and the machine speed can be increased. Because of the antistatic effect of VERPAP-ACA processing of paper difficulties can be reduced.

VERPAP-ACA can be added to the machine chest or before the head box where through

mixing with the stock suspension is ensured. It should be added after addition of optical brightener, dyes, dye fixing agents.

Dosage depends on the effect required and on the quality of the pulp. Normally the dosage of VERPAP-ACA should be 0.5% to 1.5% on dry paper basis.

VERPAP-ASP is an additive and surface sizing formulation. It is an effective cross linking agent suitable for all types of paper and paperboard applications. VERPAP-ASP is completely formaldehyde free, fast curing and reacts with hydroxyl and carboxyl groups.

APPLICATION                    :       VERPAP-ASP recommended dosage is 1-2 Kgs per ton of paper content. VERPAP-ASP is based on carbonate so PH of coating solution before addition of VERPAP-ASP must be higher than 7. VERPAP-ASP should be always added as the last ingredient in the coating solution, after adjusting the PH of the coating solution to 8-9.

VERPRO-CRA is liquid coagulant used in decolorizing of waste water independently or supplemented with inorganic coagulants or with Flocculants based on the performance requirement. VERPRO-CRA is efficient for dyestuff plant waste water. This is a suitable product to treat activated, acidic and disperse dye stuffs. This is highly efficient product for treating the waste water from textile, pigment and printing ink.

VERPRO-CRA Polymers may be unloaded manually or pumped directly into the dilution tank from the container. Prepare stock and feed solution (up to 10% w/v) by using clear filtered water. For small systems chemicals can be dosed by gravity or by dosing equipment. However for large systems use of dosing system is recommended for optimum efficiency. Our Sales Engineer will recommend the dosing and system best suited for your requirement.

VERFIN-SF-400 is a very fine wax emulsion. It’s particle size is very fine. It forms a translucent non-penetrating film that prevents excessive water evaporation resulting in effective hydration, reduced shrinkage and increased durability.

It is used for cement admixtures as curing agent and most commonly used in manufacturing of construction chemicals for protection of concrete against corrosion and minimizing moisture loss.

Application

• Used for concreting generally but especially useful for large areas of concrete construction such as runways, motorways or bridgeworks.
• It is used in construction chemicals for water resistance and protection of concrete against corrosion and rust. Also used in cement admixture as a curing agent.

VERPAP-SA (Slushing Aid) is a unique product mainly developed for reducing pulping time by wetting the fibers as fast as possible. It improves the wetting properties of the fibers.

APPLICATION: VERPAP-SA is added 0.05% to 0.2% of per ton of pulp.

VERPAP-SA-30 is very fine particle size emulsion made with high melting point waxes. It is very suitable for smoothness and water repellency. It also gives better hand feel. It creates excellent film formation so it helps to avoid binder migration. It gives better coverage because of it’s ultra fine particles size of emulsion.

APPLICATION : It is used with coating solution. VERPAP-SA-30 should be added after Pigments. Dosage depends on quality of paper. We recommend 5% on pigments basis.

VAPCO-LR-50 is marketed in the form of a white emulsion, which when diluted with water gives fine emulsion with alkalies, hard water and salts. VAPCO-LR-50 is useful as a sizing agent (Internal & Surface) in Paper Industry.      

APPLICATION                     :         VAPCO-LR-50 is wax size for paper and paper boards. It                                                              is a complementary size for use alongwith the rosin size

and offers maximum sizing.

                                                            VAPCO-LR-50 is recommended to use alongwith the

rosin to achieve the best result economically upto 45% of

the rosin size and 35% of fortified rosin can be used.

                                                            VAPCO-LR-50 should be added to mixing chest or beater.

                                                           The recommended dosages are 0.4% to 1% on dry paper

                                                           basis.
