Custom bid for services - annual maintenance contract for swimming pool-1. daily maintenance:, o clean and vacuum the pool daily, including skimming of any floating debris on the pool, surface., o brush pool walls and floor daily., o check filter pressure readings and listen for abnormal noises from the motor pump., o perform backwash as and when required., 2. chemical maintenance:, o supply all necessary consumable chemicals such as chlorine, soda ash, muriatic acid,, sodium hypochlorite, etc., o add chemicals to the swimming pool as required., o check the ph level weekly and maintain it at 7.6., o providing and mixing of the chemical as per required quantity for treating the water of, swimming pool to achieve the results as per is 3328-1993 and their relevant codes with the, help of testing kit complete as required. the work shall be carried out in accordance with, these conditions, specifications and relevant indian standard 3328-1993 and as per, instructions of iucaa, pune, o immediately report any abnormal condition of the swimming pool to the designated iucaa, representative., 3. attendant requirements:, o one attendant to be present 6 days a week for a minimum of 2 hours per day., o during summer, services are required both in the morning and evening., o the institute shall not be liable for any damage and/or compensation payable to any worker, of agency or to the agency in case of any fatal injury/death caused to or by any manpower, while performing/discharging their duties or otherwise, the contractor shall indemnify esic, for all such damages, compensation and expenses whatsoever in respect thereof or in relation, thereto., 4. filter servicing:, o service the swimming pool filter twice a year, including:, opening the filter., removing, cleaning, and refilling the sand., topping up sand as needed., fixing gaskets and other parts., o cost of additional materials (filter sand, gaskets, nuts, bolts, etc.) will be reimbursed at, actuals., o if a problem occurs, the agency must carry out the rectification work free of cost., 5. filter sand supply:, o remove existing sand and supply new filter sand (sea sand of approx. 0.5 mm size)., details of the swimming pools:, • main swimming pool:, o size: width – 7.550 meters, length – 15.15 meters, height – 3 ft to 5 ft, o capacity: approx. 145,000 litres, • baby pool:, o shape: circular, o diameter: 2.90 meters, height – 2 ft, o capacity: approx. 15,000 litres.
