related to the "supply of deepscreening work in be-ch, mb-kpv, ch-aljn sections and other loop lines in the section of sr.den/hq/mb.estt. no. 109/22 (rrsk/sf) deep screening of ballast mannually on bg plain track by way of removing the entire stone ballast including muck lying in the track below and between sleepers and on the shoulders to depth of 300 mm, limiting the digging upto original formation level only whichever is less supporting the rack temporarly with wooden blocks as elucidated in relevant para of irpwm-2o20 for passing the trains at a restricted speed of non stop 20 kmph while the work is in progress. and putting back the screened clean ballast on the track and lifting of track as required so as to get a clean cushion of 300 mm, shifting of sleepers to correct spacing including removal and refixing of fittings wherever necessary to m+7/m+4/1660/km density, squaring of sleepers including one kutchapacking, aligning, dressing /lowering the cess to deep screened depth bank with a slope of 1 in 40 falling with contractor's labour, wooden blocks, tools & plants etc with all lead and lift and as directed by engineer-incharge. note 1. the ballast cusion will be measured at every 100 m interval. each 100 m length will be treated as one block. any block having cushion less than 300 mm will be deducted in payment for less cushion than the required depth. propartionate payment will be made to that cushion. 2. the average cushion of ballast in a particular length will be arrived at by taking cushion at every 100 m interval. any individral cushion measuring more than 300 mm only for the prupose of calculation 3. the screening of ballast shall be done using inclined screens made as square mesh of specified size. 4. the entire stone ballast means the ballast available on the track between toe betweem toe points on either side and the ballast from its top level to original formation level. 5. the depth of digging shall be limited to original ornation level only. in case exiisting cushion (clean+cakeup) upto original fromation level is less than 300 mm the balance cushion shall be made good fy lifting the track to pre decoded rail level. 6. no extra payment shall be made for lifting done subsequently to achive 300 mm ballast cushion. 7. the work has to bse undertaken as per the procedure directed cide relevant para of irpwm-2o20. note: contractor has to deploy minimum 100 labours at deep screening site and minimum 3 km/month progress should be achieved. if contractor fails to do so, a penalty of rs 30/track meter will be deducted for less progress. progress will be checked on monthly basis.".
